In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Fabric and our valued consultants—building strong relationships, driving engagement, and expanding our reach within the consultant community. You will play a key role in ensuring Fabric is the preferred solution for their clients.

As the Director of Alliances & Consultant Relations, you will

    • Develop and nurture relationships with key contacts in the consulting community, building a deep understanding of Fabric’s capabilities and value proposition.
    • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify opportunities within consultant relationships and ensure alignment and collaboration.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, etc.) to leverage consultant insights and feedback to inform our employer strategy.
    • Explore potential partnership opportunities with complementary healthcare and benefits vendors.
  • Consultant Engagement & Enablement:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compelling consultant-facing messaging and resources.
    • Create tailored content (e.g., playbooks, presentations, case studies) to increase consultant understanding and support their client conversations.
    • Coordinate and participate in consultant-sponsored events to strengthen relationships and identify business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or consulting, with a strong focus on healthcare.
  • Experience at a benefits consulting or brokerage firm is strongly preferred, as is previous experience in this type of role at a startup.
  • Established relationships with, and understanding of, firms such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, Alliant, Gallagher, and Lockton.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to establish trust and rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Adept at social selling and networking to expand our visibility and reach within the consultant community.
  • A "go-getter" mentality with a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Passion for enabling teams to sell a solution that delivers results and improves healthcare outcomes.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence across departments.
