About the Role


Transform healthcare delivery as a Staff Software Engineer on our Provider Applications Team within the Virtual Care Suite. You'll be building modern web and mobile experiences using Flutter and C# to enhance care for thousands of providers nationwide. Specializing in client-side development, you'll collaborate closely with our Platforms Team to deliver seamless provider experiences. Our engineers thrive in a highly collaborative environment, partnering with Design, Product, and Quality teams through all phases of development, operating within a two-week Scrum sprint cycle.


As a Staff Software Engineer, you will

  • Provide technical guidance, planning, and mentorship to developers on best practices, code reviews, and overall software architecture.
  • Design scalable and maintainable software architecture for web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and usability.
  • Offer thought leadership in Flutter, design patterns, and front-end best practices, advocating for scalable, maintainable, and high-performance code.
  • Collaborate with quality engineers to create and deliver test plans, including automated user testing and integration specifications, to meet quality objectives.
  • Utilize your expertise to guide other engineers on the team in writing exceptional code through thorough technical design and planning.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of professional experience working in a front-end technology as part of an Agile team. (Flutter experience isn't required)
  • You have experience defining, planning, and estimating development efforts.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of developing well-designed, thoroughly tested, secure, and documented software solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Bonus Points

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in the healthcare field.
