About the Role
As the Vice President of Finance at Fabric, you will be a strategic leader shaping our financial operations and future growth within the dynamic healthcare technology space. You will oversee financial resources, improve cash flow, reduce industry-specific risks, and lead strategic initiatives that support our mission to transform patient care.
As the Vice President of Finance, you will
- Provide Financial Leadership: Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs tailored to the unique metrics of a healthcare technology company.
- Drive Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes that account for the complexities of healthcare reimbursement, evolving market dynamics, and advancements in technology.
- Own Financial Modeling & Analysis: Maintain our financial forecast model and conduct ad-hoc analyses, including ROI assessments for new product development and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor Performance & Ensure Compliance: Track financial performance, identify trends, and ensure compliance with financial regulations relevant to SaaS and healthcare technology sectors.
- Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams to ensure financial strategies align with product innovation, growth objectives, and patient care initiatives.
- Optimize for Scale: Identify and improve financial processes and systems that support rapid, sustainable growth in a regulated environment.
- Support Executive Reporting & Investor Relations: Prepare materials for executive reviews, board meetings, and investor communications, highlighting strategic and financial insights.
- M&A and Partnership Activities: Contribute to due diligence and integration efforts related to potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience leading finance and accounting, including leadership roles in healthcare, healthcare tech and technology sectors.
- A proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in high-growth environments.
- Hands-on experience with M&A activity and strategic partnerships, ideally in healthcare or health tech.
- Deep understanding of SaaS financial models, planning, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Well-developed analytical thinking and a business-savvy mindset, with a clear understanding of the broader regulatory and market environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for a variety of audiences.
