Technical Consulting Analyst

Farlinium provides software solutions, managed services, and consulting to a wide range of organizations. Our core competency is big data and text analytics in the Customer Experience (CX) and Business Intelligence (BI) spaces.

We strive to be trusted partners and advisors to our clients. Our approach combines deep subject-matter expertise with a highly collaborative approach to drive transformative results.

As a Technical Consulting Analyst you’ll be the engine behind our data‑integration projects, turning requirements into production‑ready code—building APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and automation that unlock value from client data. You’ll write, test, and troubleshoot daily and shadow senior consultants in discovery workshops, solution‑design sessions, and live demos. By pairing deep “keyboard time” with real‑world exposure to client conversations, you’ll rapidly pick up the consulting skills—framing trade‑offs, telling the technical story, and earning stakeholder trust—that turn strong developers into future architects and tech leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build & test integrations – Write Python, SQL, and API calls to move and transform data across cloud and on‑prem systems; create repeatable, well‑documented workflows
  • Contribute to solution design – Translate high‑level requirements into technical tasks, estimate effort, and surface questions or risks early
  • Ensure reliability & security – Add unit tests and basic security controls so every deliverable is production‑ready
  • Troubleshoot & support – Investigate data‑quality issues, debug code, and issue pull requests with timely fixes
  • Document & share – Keep runbooks, README files, and architecture diagrams up to date; present concise updates to teammates
  • Learn & improve – Stay current on new libraries, cloud services, and data‑engineering patterns; prototype ideas that could speed development or add insight

Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
  • Programming skills – Coursework or projects demonstrating proficiency with Python plus working knowledge of SQL; ability to read API docs and build simple REST requests
  • Data‑engineering fundamentals – Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, relational vs. NoSQL data stores, and basic cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Problem‑solving mindset – You enjoy breaking down complex problems, experimenting, and iterating toward a clean solution
  • Collaboration & communication – Clear written documentation, receptive to feedback, comfortable asking questions, and able to explain your code choices to non‑experts

Bonus points – Contact‑center or CX platforms (Genesys, NICE CXone, Five9)
