Now Hiring: Restaurant Manager – Front of House (FOH)
Location: Farm 12 | Puyallup, WA
Schedule: Full-time, 45–50 hours/week | Salaried, Exempt
Reports to: Food & Beverage Director

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Operations
- Lead daily FOH restaurant and bar operations, setting the tone for service and staff excellence.
- Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and fully staffed within labor budget guidelines.
- Uphold and model company values in decision-making, team leadership, and guest interactions.
- Open and close the restaurant and bar, and ensure checklists and prep are completed each day.
- Hire, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate FOH team members.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift meetings, lead weekly manager huddles, and foster a team-focused environment.
Guest Experience
- Ensure all guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service.
- Monitor floor service and engage directly with guests to resolve concerns and build relationships.
- Oversee service quality and consistency, including up-selling, suggestive selling, and brand communication.
- Coach and train staff to maintain Farm 12’s high service standards.
Bar & Beverage Program
- Assist with beverage cost monitoring, inventory, purchasing, and menu development.
- Partner with Food & Beverage Director and Site Beverage Manager to maintain beverage quality and profitability.
- Lead ongoing beverage training and tastings for staff.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Help achieve sales goals and manage FOH prime costs.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of cash handling, POS reports (Toast), and accounting procedures.
- Support inventory management and cost control measures.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a restaurant management role required.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems (experience with Toast is a plus).
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
- Current Washington State Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain).
- MAST Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to stand/walk for 8–10 hours, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a physically active environment.

Pay & Benefits
Salary Range: $77,968.00-
Benefits: Paid Vacation, 401k and Company paid Medical/Vision/Dental.

77,968 - 82,000 USD per year (Farm 12 Restaurant )
