We are currently recruiting a Baker for our scratch bakery and coffee shop, Fika at Farm 12. In addition to the scratch coffee shop and bakery, we feature a newer high scale 125-seat restaurant, private room dining and a formal event hall that can accommodate up to 400+ guests and are currently implementing plans for additional growth in Puyallup, Washington.

Pay/Benefits:

• Pay starting at $18-$20 per hour + tips; dependent on background/education/experience.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Bakers mix and bake ingredients to produce bread, pastries, and other baked goods.

·         Monitor baking process to identify needed adjustments.

·         Obtain information from production schedules and recipes.

·         Handle and move ingredients, tools, and cooking pans.

·         Implement products by following recipes or creating new ones with the direction of a supervisor.

Our Ideal Candidate:

·         Understands and has a minimum of two years’ experience working in a production bakery.

·         Is a strong communicator who enjoys working in a team environment.

·         Is self-motivated, can work well under pressure and has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

·         Can be flexible in his/her work schedule. Must have weekend/holiday availability.

·         Has a current Food Handlers Permit.

·         Is able to focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy items.
