GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various production tasks including banner finishing, weeding of vinyl, prepping wraps, applying vinyl to substrates, product finishing, and sign production. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure high-quality output and timely project completion.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND DUTIES 

• Material Preparation:
• • Prepare substrates and materials for printing, cutting, or application.
• Vinyl and Graphic Application:
• • Weed vinyl graphics to remove excess material, ensuring precision in final designs.
  • Apply vinyl graphics to various substrates, ensuring proper alignment and adhesion.
• Assembly and Construction:
• • Assemble sign components, including frames, backing, and mounting hardware.
  • Install components such as lights, electronic displays, and other add-ons as needed.
• Finishing Touches:
• • Perform finishing tasks such as trimming, hemming, and grommeting on banners, signs, and displays.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed signs to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Installation Assistance:
• • Prepare finished signs and graphics for installation, including packaging and labeling.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
• Inventory Management:
• • Organize and manage stock materials and inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Keep track of material usage and update inventory records.
• Workspace Organization:
• • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• • Work closely with sales, design, and production teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Communicate any issues or delays that may affect project completion.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Experience: in sign production or a related field is preferred.
