About the role

The Inside Sales Representative drives revenue growth by managing inbound customer inquiries, executing outbound call campaigns, and following up on assigned leads and accounts within a designated geographic territory. The role focuses on building relationships and closing sales to achieve quotas, primarily from an office setting.  Key duties include identifying sales opportunities, qualifying leads, following up on inquiries, maintaining customer databases, and possessing strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build rapport.

What you'll do

  • Promptly and professionally engage with qualified leads and inbound inquiries via phone and email, expertly identifying customer needs and guiding them towards the right solutions.
  • Consistently manage assigned leads, building rapport and strategically moving prospects through a clearly defined sales pipeline.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial contact and needs assessment to successful deal closure, tracking all activities and progress within our CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products/services and their diverse applications through proactive research and utilization of available resources.
  • Consistently close deals and actively prospect and develop new business opportunities to surpass established sales quotas.
  • Accurately and diligently update our CRM system with all customer interactions and sales activities, ensuring data-driven insights for future success.
  • Partner effectively with fellow sales team members, customer service, and other internal departments to achieve overarching company objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and emerging opportunities to sales management through scheduled meetings and reports.

Qualifications

  • History of successful attainment of sales goals and winning new business
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation and negotiation skill
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Experience in networking and prospecting.
  • Strong sense of urgency and proven track record to drive results.
  • Strong organization skills to multi-task demanding priorities; effective use of resources to deliver customer results
  • Strong working knowledge of current and changing company products and service offerings; ability to maintain industry/competitor knowledge
  • Experience in using CRM systems to effectively track sales activity and meet KPIs.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3+ years relevant customer-facing experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Work at home requirements:

  • Quiet and professional workplace free from noise (kids, pets, etc.)
  • High speed internet access, wired to employee's residence, with minimum speed of 50 mbps
  • A chair and flat surface or desk to work from
