About the role

  • The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day- to- day operations of the warehouse, including the supervision of staff, inventory management, and order fulfillment.  This role will be responsible for following company and site-specific safety policies.  This role will maintain inventory of the warehouse including receiving, issuing, and organizing materials for maximum efficiency; and preparing material daily. 

What you'll do

  • Responsible for hiring and supervising warehouse staff.
  • Performs administrative activities associated with the effective supervision of warehouse operations and the prevention of inventory shrink, including performing cycle counts.
  • Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations to include SOPs, Work Flows, WMS/ERP system processes.
  • Ensures that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner; and maintains required records in conformance with company policy.
  • Discusses defective or unacceptable goods/services with inspection/quality control personnel, vendors, or others to determine source of trouble and takes corrective action.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Ecommerce and DC Replenishment Operations preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience in the vinyl wrap industry is a plus
  • Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong background in WMS/ERP applications (Netsuite or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to manage a team of 2 to 3 direct reports
  • Experience with 5S, Lean Methodology and Operational Excellence is a plus
