Product Marketing Manager

FieldPulse is a fast-growing, customer-focused SaaS company providing modern business management solutions for trade professionals, including plumbers, electricians, HVAC specialists, and specialty contractors. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of product positioning, messaging, and enablement. You’ll leverage customer and market insights to craft compelling stories, orchestrate launches, and power sales and marketing to drive pipeline and revenue. Working closely with Product, Sales, and the broader Marketing team, you will ensure our product marketing initiatives effectively address customer pain points, showcase ROI, and support scalable growth.

What You'll Do: 

  • Positioning & Messaging
    • Develop and refine our product positioning for market differentiation, ensuring a clear and consistent value proposition across multiple industries and buyer segments (e.g., commercial vs. residential, franchise).
    • Create and maintain core messaging frameworks that highlight FieldPulse’s unique benefits and ROI.
  • Market & Customer Understanding
    • Conduct ongoing research to deeply understand industry-specific challenges, personas, and company sizes.
    • Map customer and buyer journeys, synthesizing insights to better align our solutions with their day-to-day workflows.
  • GTM Strategy for New Features & Products
    • Plan and execute go-to-market launches, including naming, packaging, positioning, and messaging for new features or products.
    • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop launch materials and campaigns that accelerate product adoption.
  • Sales Enablement
    • Partner with Sales to deliver impactful enablement materials—pitch decks, competitive briefs, battle cards, and ROI calculators—that drive stronger conversations and close rates.
    • Create and deliver product demos (including interactive demos via platforms like Storylane) tailored to industry, persona, and business size.
  • Use Case & Feature Demonstrations
    • Develop and manage use-case demo environments showcasing how FieldPulse adds value in different scenarios (e.g., commercial vs. residential, franchise operations).
    • Lead internal and external training sessions on new features, ensuring teams and customers understand benefits and best practices.
  • Customer & Market Feedback Loops
    • Gather customer feedback and market data to inform product roadmaps, marketing strategies, and enhancements.
    • Maintain a consistent feedback channel with users to uncover pain points, validate positioning, and measure satisfaction.
  • Buying & Customer Journey Mapping
    • Outline and optimize the buying journey for prospects across various channels.
    • Map post-purchase customer journeys to improve onboarding, engagement, and retention, collaborating closely with Customer Success.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze app user data, competitive intelligence, and win/loss patterns to guide product marketing decisions and refine messaging.
    • Work closely with Demand Generation and Analytics teams to share insights, measure program effectiveness, and adjust strategies.
  • Strategic Collaboration & Leadership
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Demand Generation, Sales, Product, and Creative) to ensure product marketing strategies align with broader company objectives.
    • Regularly present performance updates, market insights, and innovative ideas to the Director of Marketing and executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing or related experience, demonstrating successful product launches and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Strategic & Independent Mindset: Proven track record in developing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling product narratives, and driving measurable impact.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent relationship-building skills across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating technical features into clear customer benefits.
  • Organizational Superpowers: Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting and interpreting market data, conducting win/loss analysis, and using CRM/analytics tools (Salesforce, GA4, etc.) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, iterating quickly, and pivoting strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Bonus Points:
    • Familiarity with the field service software or broader SaaS industry best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with interactive demo platforms (e.g., Storylane) and marketing automation tools.
    • Experience building ROI calculators or similar value-selling frameworks.
