Renewal Specialist

FieldPulse is a fun, dedicated, and growing team that is building modern applications for small home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, specialty contractors, etc.) to help organize and run their business operations.  

We’re hiring a Renewal Specialist to drive retention, revenue growth, and pricing consistency across our customer base.

We’re looking for a tenacious, data-savvy Renewal Specialist to take full ownership of our customer renewal strategy. This is a brand-new role on our Account Management team, designed to increase net retention by expanding contract coverage, identifying price optimization opportunities, and locking in steady, strategic growth each month.

Full-time, in-office at our headquarters in Dallas, TX. You’ll be part of a collaborative, no-ego team that moves fast and builds big.


What You'll Do: 

  • Renewal Strategy & Execution: Take complete ownership of the monthly renewal process, from account identification to contract execution.
  • Contract Coverage Expansion: Audit and identify all active customers not under contract and create a plan to bring them into agreement—either directly or in partnership with Customer Success.
  • Pricing Optimization: Evaluate accounts for pricing consistency, identify where small increases are warranted based on time since last adjustment, and recommend when to hold pricing for growth potential.
  • Negotiation & Customer Communication: Lead renewal conversations with confidence. Negotiate pricing, handle objections, and reinforce FieldPulse’s value—especially with legacy customers or those receiving heavy discounts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze account data and support history to inform renewal strategy, balancing revenue growth with retention risk.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with CS, Support, Finance, and Sales to execute contracts and manage customer needs—without relying on hand-holding or layers of approvals.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of renewal status, risk, and revenue projections in Salesforce.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in B2B contract renewals, account management, or inside sales preferred with a proven track record of hitting retention and upsell goals.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills—you’re comfortable navigating tough conversations and turning them into win-win outcomes.
  • Autonomous work style—you take full ownership of your function and run with it.
  • Analytical mindset—you can spot patterns, use data to justify decisions, and make calculated tradeoffs.
  • Experience working with legacy accounts, underpriced segments, and support-heavy customers to drive long-term value and fair pricing.
  • Confidence using tools like Salesforce, Google Workspace, and eSignature platforms. Bonus if you’ve used Gong or Salesloft.
  • SaaS experience preferred, especially in subscription billing or customer lifecycle management.
