Partner Success Manager

FieldPulse is a fun, dedicated, and growing team that is building modern applications for small home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, specialty contractors, etc.) to help organize and run their business operations.

The Partner Success Manager (PSM) role is fundamental to the success of our go-to-market (GTM) partnership strategy. In this role, you’ll report directly to the VP of Partnerships and be responsible for driving the growth, results, and strategic outcomes around which the Partnerships team is built. Together with our Strategic Partner Managers, you’ll develop and execute the activation, implementation, and GTM motions unique to each partnership channel. You’ll engage directly with our strategic Partners, building a deep understanding of their business and their objectives, which you’ll use to create mutually beneficial success plans that drive the desired outcomes for all parties. Internally you’ll be an advocate for our Partners, training and educating FieldPulse teams on our Partner ecosystem and how they can contribute to the overall success of these relationships. Your role is truly cross-functional, and you’ll interact daily with the entirety of the FieldPulse organization to build, execute, and refine the strategies you develop

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Strategic Partner Managers to qualify new Partner opportunities
  • Develop and execute implementation plans specific to each Partner and each partnership channel
  • Manage, end-to-end, the activation of new Partners, ensuring launch criteria are met qualitatively and on schedule
  • Build mutual success plans in tandem with our Partners that contribute meaningfully to our shared objectives
  • Create a reporting framework that accurately tracks progress against victory conditions, keeping stakeholders informed and facilitating a proactive operating environment
  • Operate transparently with our Partners and our internal teams, sharing wins, challenges, and opportunities
  • Establish meeting and reporting cadences with Partners, delivering timely updates on KPIs and progress made against mutual success plans
  • Hold Partners, teammates, and stakeholders accountable for their contributions towards the shared success of our partnerships
  • Iterate and evolve Partner success plans over time, adapting to changing circumstances, market conditions, and shifting business objectives

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a closely adjacent role
  • Self-starter, no need for micro-management or tedious follow-up. You know what you need to do and you can map out how to get there. You have the wisdom to ask for help when you need it and you’re not afraid to ask.
  • Ability to connect deeply with people, building lasting relationships with mutual trust and a shared vision for success
  • Ability to construct a narrative around your vision and the supporting data, securing stakeholder buy-in
  • A depth of technical understanding where you’re comfortable discussing realistic possibilities but know when an expert is required. You can make sense of what’s possible with an API, and connect those possibilities with favorable business outcomes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the financial metrics that define success, and the actions that directly impact those metrics
  • Agile enough to pivot quickly, adapting to dynamic situations and circumstances
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly developed organization skills
  • Ability to manage multi-faceted projects across two or more organizations and an array of different teams, keeping everyone moving towards a common goal on time and within scope
  • Foundational knowledge and experience with core productivity suites (Office, Google, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze, manipulate, and effectively leverage data to achieve your objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen ability to influence stakeholders

Nice to Haves:

  • Moderate Salesforce CRM proficiency
  • A developed personal operating system (i.e. Notion, Obsidian, Evernote, etc.)
  • Experience with project management platforms like Monday.com or Asana
  • Advanced proficiency with core productivity suites (Office, Google, etc.)
  • Working understanding of AI concepts, tools, and applications

What We Offer:

  • Covered Medical Insurance
  • Dental & Vision Benefits
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Fun, fast-paced startup culture- you’ll be able to work on projects that make a huge impact
  • Catered Lunches Monday-Friday
  • Class Pass, Netflix, HBO, Hulu and Peloton subscriptions
  • 401k
  • Transparent career growth, professional development, and promotion opportunities
