Senior Performance Marketing Manager

FieldPulse is a fun, dedicated, and growing team that is building modern applications for small home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, specialty contractors, etc.) to help organize and run their business operations.

We’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to drive our paid media and inbound growth efforts, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and playing a crucial role in scaling our business.

As the Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing all paid advertising channels (search and social), overseeing website conversion rate optimization (CRO), and leading content initiatives that drive MQL and pipeline inbound growth. You will work directly with the Demand Generation Manager, ensuring that all campaigns and strategies are designed to achieve measurable growth across lead acquisition, conversion, and pipeline development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Campaign Management: Lead and execute paid media strategies across search and social channels, optimizing for cost-efficiency and ROI.
  • Website CRO: Oversee website CRO strategies, managing activities, landing page strategy, user journeys, and reporting.
  • Content Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager to align content strategies with performance marketing goals, driving content that supports MQL and pipeline growth.
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative team to develop ad designs, including both static imagery and video, ensuring alignment with campaign strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Drive inbound MQL and pipeline growth through paid advertising, SEO, Website CRO and other content marketing initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Manage advertising budgets to maximize efficiency and ensure high ROI for campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Be highly proficient in generating and analyzing reports from Salesforce, ad platforms, budgets, and Google Sheets. Oversee website performance through Google Analytics, with a deep understanding of GA4 to track and optimize key metrics.
  • Proactive Strategy Development: Consistently think of new strategies and tactics for lead generation and pipeline growth. Proactively present innovative ideas and insights to the Director of Marketing on a regular basis.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement performance marketing strategies that align with overall company objectives for growth and customer acquisition.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to ensure lead quality and optimize the handoff process from marketing to sales.
  • MarTech Optimization: Manage the marketing tech stack and tools used for paid media, CRO, and reporting, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
  • Competitor and Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry best practices, and competitors to inform paid media strategies.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, and lead generation, preferably with high velocity teams.
  • Reporting Expertise: Strong skills in using Salesforce, ad platforms, budget tracking, and Google Sheets for comprehensive reporting and data analysis.
  • Proactive Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, regularly coming up with new ideas and presenting them to leadership.
  • GA4 Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), with experience in tracking and optimizing website performance.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working closely with content teams and creative teams to align marketing strategies with content production and ad design.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO, and other relevant marketing platforms. Experience with CRO tools such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, or similar.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, provide insights, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments, especially with sales and marketing teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a focus on driving long-term growth through measurable campaigns.
