About The Role
As Director of Enterprise Sales, you will be a key member of our leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our corporate training programs, leveraging our impressive history of working with 91 of the Fortune 100 and leading universities such as Yale, Oxford, and Harvard.
This role combines hybrid ownership of individual sales responsibilities and team leadership, focusing on driving revenue growth in the enterprise sector. You will manage a small, high-performing team, including a senior sales representative focused on university partnerships and a client success manager, while also carrying a personal sales quota.
What You’ll Do
In addition to leading enterprise sales efforts and setting a high standard for sales excellence, the Director of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for:
- Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to expand our corporate training programs, targeting Fortune 1000 companies and other large organizations.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations, understanding their training needs and positioning Flatiron School as a preferred partner.
- Sales Operations: Oversee the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and ensure seamless delivery of training programs.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Who You Are
- Experienced Sales Leader: You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably 5+ years of experience within the tech or education sectors, and have successfully met or exceeded sales targets.
- Team-Oriented Manager: You have experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Strategic Thinker: You can develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Excellent Communicator: You possess strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: You utilize data and analytics to inform sales strategies, track performance, and drive continuous improvement.
The Pay Range For This Role Is
$150,000 - 175,000 USD base with $250,000 OTE per year
