About the role
- Fleet Equipment, an industry leader in trailer and equipment leasing and sales, is looking for a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with the ability to work on various machinery and equipment. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
What you'll do
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on automotive systems and equipment.
- Execute repairs on hydraulic systems, power tools, and other machinery.
- Utilize soldering techniques for electrical repairs as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently during service operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair, with a focus on diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and related systems.
- Proficiency in using power tools and welding equipment is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to the field are advantageous.
- Cummins certification is preferred.
