At FluidLogic, we're reimagining how humans hydrate. Our Intelligent Hydration systems combine cutting-edge hardware with powerful software to optimize performance, health, and recovery—starting with elite athletes and expanding to everyday adventurers. We believe the future of wellness is precision-driven, personalized, and always evolving—and we're just getting started.
About the Role
As the Engineering Services Administrator, you’ll ensure that our engineering teams, suppliers, and partners have a rock-solid foundation of accurate, accessible, and compliant product data. You’ll manage the systems that control our Bill of Materials (BOMs), part libraries, compliance documentation, and change processes—making sure everything from CAD models to supplier certifications is current, traceable, and integrated across platforms.
This role is about being the source of truth for engineering data and workflows. Your work will allow engineers and program managers to execute confidently, knowing they’re working with accurate systems and documentation.
What You'll Do
System Administration & Configuration
- Administer and configure Windchill PLM as the central hub for engineering data.
- Maintain integrations across Altium (ECAD), SAP (ERP), and other engineering tools.
- Troubleshoot system issues, implement improvements, and manage test/back-up environments.
Document & Data Management
- Own engineering document control processes, including BOMs, drawings, part numbers, and supplier data.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH, PFAS/Prop 65, WEEE, CE/FCC/UL) is tracked, stored, and linked to the right parts and assemblies.
- Manage engineering libraries in Altium and Windchill, including new part requests, alternates, and end-of-life (EOL) transitions.
Change & Workflow Management
- Facilitate and administer change control boards (CRB/CCB), ensuring change requests and notices are accurately processed and implemented.
- Configure and maintain workflows in PLM for tasks such as ECOs (engineering change orders), RMAs, and supplier onboarding.
- Release production-ready BOMs and ensure data accuracy through system-driven audits and reports.
Training & Support
- Provide onboarding, live training, and user guides for engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
- Serve as the first line of support for Windchill/PLM users, resolving issues and coaching teams on best practices.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Generate reports on BOM health, ECO throughput, release accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement of documentation and data workflows, reducing errors and improving system usability.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Engineering teams and program managers can quickly access the latest, accurate data without confusion.
- Compliance and certification documentation is always audit-ready.
- BOMs, parts, and changes flow seamlessly from design through to manufacturing.
- Systems are stable, well-documented, and continuously improving.
- Users (internal teams and suppliers) are trained and confident in PLM/ERP processes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of experience in PLM administration (Windchill strongly preferred) and engineering document control.
- Some familiarity of ECAD tools (Altium) and part library management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and product lifecycle workflows.
- Understanding of compliance documentation requirements for consumer electronics.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with complex, multi-system data environments.
- Excellent communication skills for training, supporting, and collaborating with engineering teams and external partners.
