About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruiting efforts and general HR operations. This part-time role is ideal for someone who cares about recruitment operations, candidate experience, and the assisting in optimizing the HR function and processes. You’ll play a key role in streamlining our hiring workflows, supporting employee documentation, and ensuring timely communication across HR functions.

What You'll Do

  • Recruiting Support
    • Manage job postings across internal and external platforms.
    • Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates based on job requirements.
    • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers and other internal team members of the interview process.
    • Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
    • Assist with offer letters, background checks, and onboarding documentation.
  • HR Administrative Support
    • Maintain and organize employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing any new hire materials and scheduling orientations, meet & greets, and any other relevant meetings and events.
    • Provide general administrative support for HR, including scheduling, document preparation, and maintaining digital filing systems.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Seamless Scheduling & Coordination: Interviews and HR meetings are scheduling promptly and efficiently, with minimal rescheduling and clear communication between all parties.
  • Positive Candidate & Employee Experience: Candidates and employees feel informed, respected, and supported throughout their interactions with HR.
  • Operational Excellence: Job postings, employee records, and HR systems are accurate, up to date, and well maintained.
  • Reliable Team Support: Team members can count on timely administrative support, clear communication, and dependable follow through on tasks.

Work Environment

  • Your Schedule: This is a part-time role with at least 20 hours per week. Some flexibility may be available depending on team needs.
  • Where You'll Be: This position allows for a hybrid schedule, with a mix of remote work and in-person collaboration at our El Segundo office. We value the flexibility of working from home while recognizing the energy and connection that come from being together in person. You'll typically be onsite for key meetings, team sessions, or hands-on work with no more than 20 hours a week total.

What You'll Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting or HR administration
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and HRIS systems, Rippling preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Comfort with handling sensitive employee information and maintaining discretion

The pay range for this role is:

27 - 42 USD per hour (El Segundo)
