About the Role

As Program Manager, Engineering, you’ll be at the heart of developing cutting-edge consumer electronic products. You’ll lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle – from concept to launch – ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and strategic alignment. This role requires a strong engineering background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions.

What you'll Do 

  • Project Management
    • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hardware development programs.
    • Develop and maintain detailed schedules, meeting notes, and action items.
    • Coordinate across Industrial Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Branding.
  • Strategy Execution
    • Translate strategic goals into actionable engineering plans.
    • Drive execution with clarity, urgency, and a commitment to quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Own documentation of product requirements, risks, issues, and changes.
    • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and updates.
  • Testing and Validation
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and execute testing protocols.
    • Support validation and implementation of product improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Present project updates and insights to leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Analyze feedback and outcomes to inform future development.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and learning.

  • Products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Engineering teams are aligned, motivated, and executing efficiently.
  • Risks are proactively managed, with minimal surprises during development.
  • Stakeholders are consistently informed and confident in program direction.
  • Documentation is thorough, up-to-date, and supports decision-making.
  • Continuous improvement practices are embedded in the team’s workflow.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years in engineering program management or product design.
  • Experience with system-level product development (mechanical, electrical, firmware, app integration).
  • Expertise in NPI and high-volume consumer electronics.
  • Familiarity with design control and phase-gate processes.
  • Multinational development experience.
  • Proactive, emotionally intelligent communicator.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based out of our El Segundo office, following a hybrid schedule. While some remote flexibility is available, we place a strong emphasis on onsite presence for collaboration, team engagement, and hands-on work.

The pay range for this role is:

115,000 - 125,000 USD per year (HQ)
