About the Role

Foresight Construction Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This role is hands-on and critical to jobsite productivity — responsible for layout, framing, finish work, and supporting field operations with precision and safety.


This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, values structure and teamwork, and thrives in a fast-paced jobsite environment.

What You'll Do

Perform Carpentry

  • Layout and install framing, doors, hardware, blocking, backing, and specialty items
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately and efficiently
  • Install finish carpentry elements as required

Support Jobsite Operations

  • Work closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to meet project timelines
  • Coordinate with trade partners to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas

Uphold Safety & Quality Standards

  • Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols
  • Ensure work meets company quality standards and project specifications
  • Identify and communicate potential issues before they impact schedule or quality

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
  • Ability to read construction drawings and use layout tools accurately
  • Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs., ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work at heights, and comfortable working in outdoor Florida conditions
