About Forterra
Forterra is a leading provider of autonomous systems for ground-based movement in the working world. Amongst some of the earliest innovators in the field of driverless technology, Forterra is focused on building systems that protect front-line soldiers and enable civilian workers in our industrial base. Forterra is the go-to provider of ground autonomy solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, which harnesses the technology for asymmetric warfare in critical conditions.
About the role
The next generation of autonomous vehicles will be consuming exponentially
more data than vehicles on the road today. The increased demand for higher
data bandwidth and an increased focus on functional safety has led the
industry to define new automotive ethernet standards. Here at Forterra we
are looking for candidates who are interested in staying on the cutting edge

- Developing embedded software as required to support new networking architectures and capabilities.
- Programing & configuring of embedded PHYs & switches.
- Assessing, implementing, and performing compliance verification testing of automotive networking protocols and standards.
- Performing embedded networking tests at the component level, subsystem level, and system level.
- Analyzing and assessing verification and validation results.
- Conducting network analyses to include safety, reliability,
maintainability, testability, and system security.
