Forum Financial Management, LP is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisory Firm (RIA) that has over 9 billion AUM. Forum was founded in 2002 and became an independent RIA in 2009. At Forum, we use a highly diversified investment strategy derived from decades of academic research. While this strategy has been called many things, we think the term “evidence-based investing” best describes this approach. We strive to take the emotions out of investing and counsel clients to avoid making short-sighted moves based on current market conditions.
We are in search of a candidate to join our Backoffice team. The primary responsibilities include working with senior traders and senior operations personnel in providing accurate reporting, reconciliation of client performance reporting and daily trade processing. There will be a direct interface with customer service team, principals of the firm, and our primary vendors.
This individual will be responsible for:
Job Responsibilities & Activities:
• Develop a deep understanding of Forum’s investment philosophy
• Identify client portfolios that are out of balance and determine the next steps for resolution
• Review client cash balances to be invested or generated for distribution needs
• Set up new clients in rebalancing software and coordinate with advisors to implement the investment plan
• Participate in monthly and quarterly trading audits
• Provide exceptional service for advisors and Client Service Team
• Interface with key software providers
• Provide follow-up on all assigned responsibilities and keep advisors and appropriate management informed on
progress and concerns
• Always act in an ethical manner according to procedures outlined in the trading manual
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience on a Backoffice team for an RIA or Broker Dealer
• Knowledge of Schwab, TD Ameritrade, and/or Fidelity a plus
• Knowledge of Tamarac trading software a plus
• Pursuit CFA or CFP designations are a plus but not required

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 75,000 USD per year (Remote)
