Job Summary:


The GrantHub Sales Intern is a crucial position on the Sales team and requires both an in-depth knowledge

of our product and the ability to effectively communicate to clients, prospects, and internal teams regarding the software. Interns are the primary points of contact for GrantHub sales and directly contribute to driving growth and sales of the product. Interns will also gain experience using Salesforce Lightning. The ideal candidate for this role will be a student interested in gaining real-world sales or business experience. Successful candidates should be pursuing a degree related to business, have an understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.), be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills.


In this role, you will:

    • Obtain a concrete understanding of GrantHub in order to conduct video demonstrations for prospects.
    • Manage inbound and outbound calling, e-mail communication, online live chat support, and scheduling of virtual software presentations and overall management of your pipeline throughout the sales cycle.
    • Accurately input, update and maintain Salesforce records on each lead, contact, opportunity and account for assigned prospects and customers.
    • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, providing useful insight into renewal trends, prospect quality and quantity to the Sales team.
    • Work closely with the Support Team to address and quickly resolve issues for GrantHub clients.
    • Communicate effectively with the team to address current issues and formulate ideas for future improvements.
    • Gain an understanding of Foundant products and how we support the philanthropic/nonprofit sectors.
    • Troubleshoot payment or invoicing discrepancies with the accounting department.
    • Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.


Qualifications:

· Student Classification: All welcome, from freshman to senior+ status.

· Areas of Study: All welcome, especially relevant coursework in Business, Finance, Communications, etc.

· Schedule: 15 – 20 hours per week, flexible schedule in collaboration with organization needs and Team Lead coordination.

· Expected employment term: At least 9 months or change in student status.

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
