What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Scale the Sales Organization: Develop a high performing, culturally aligned sales team that consistently meets company objectives.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Build and execute a scalable sales strategy to achieve and exceed growth targets.
- Manage and Grow the Sales Team: Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain top sales talent across direct sales, inside sales, and strategic partnerships.
- Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Partner with Marketing, Client Success, and Product teams to refine and implement go-to-market initiatives.
- Own Pipeline and Forecasting: Manage sales pipeline metrics, CRM hygiene, and forecasting to drive accountability and predictability.
- Champion Customer-Centric Sales: Foster a consultative, relationship-driven sales approach tailored to the unique needs of community foundations and nonprofits.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Identify and grow channel and alliance partnerships that enhance direct sales efforts.
- Collaborate at the Executive Level: Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy, especially during scaling under private equity ownership.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Sales Leadership Experience: 8+ years in SaaS sales leadership roles, including 3+ years at the Director level or equivalent.
- Private Equity Exposure: Experience in private equity-backed companies, with familiarity in high-growth scaling environments, KPIs, and operational rigor.
- Sector Knowledge: Direct experience selling to or working within community foundations, philanthropic organizations, or nonprofits is highly valued.
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of scaling SaaS revenue from $50M to $150M+.
- Leadership Skills: Success leading geographically distributed sales teams.
- CRM and Tech Stack Expertise: Deep expertise with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems and modern sales technologies.
- Operational Excellence: Strong command of data-driven sales management practices, including forecasting, KPI tracking, and board-level reporting.
- Mission Alignment: A genuine passion for the philanthropic sector and a strong connection to Foundant’s mission.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
