Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. We've made the exciting transition to an owner-operated Coal Handling and Preparation Plant this is a major milestone for Foxleigh Mine and a unique opportunity to be a part of something new.

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We're seeking experienced and motivated CHPP Operator/Maintainer – Electrical to join our team and help shape the future of our processing operations. This is more than just a role it's your chance to set new standards in reliability, safety, and continuous improvement at Foxleigh.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate and monitor Foxleigh's CHPP to deliver consistent, high-quality PCI coal in line with production targets.
• Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance, and attend to minor breakdowns, using your skills and experience to be resourceful and keep the plant running reliably.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment across the CHPP, Train Loadout, and Yard, showing care and respect for your teammates, equipment, and the environment.
• Work closely with a tight-knit team to drive practical, site-specific improvements that enhance safety, performance, and efficiency.
• Adhere to site safety, health, and environmental standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We value team players with a strong safety mindset and experience in fixed plant operations. The following qualifications/competencies are desirable (with Statements of Attainment or site training reports):

• Electrical Fitter Licence (QLD
• HV Switching competency
• RIIMPO305F – Conduct coal stockpile dozer operations
• RIIPRO301D – Conduct crushing and screening plant operations
• RIIPRO302D – Perform processing control room operations
• RIISAM208D – Perform plant operational maintenance
• RIIWBP203D – Treat and dispose of rejects and tailings
• RIIMCP301D – Monitor coal preparation plant operations
