America Is All In

Director, Research & Learning

Director, Research and Learning

About America Is All In

America Is All In (All In) demonstrates the strength and potential of subnational leadership on climate change in the United States. Founded in 2017 in response to the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, All In works with U.S. cities, states, tribal nations, businesses, schools, and institutions of faith, health, and culture.

All In is evolving into its next phase. During this period of federal rollback, there is both an opportunity and a need to elevate subnational climate leadership. All In is focused on building partnerships with domestic partners and global allies, demonstrating continued progress at the state and local levels, and elevating U.S. subnational climate leadership on the international stage.

About the Role

The Director, Research and Learning will develop and execute All In’s research strategy. This includes All In-commissioned and supported research, collaborations with various institutions, and support for the research and data needs of All In’s partners.  This role will be critical in leveraging and building All In as a trusted source on the state of U.S. subnational climate and clean energy action, providing credible data products for both domestic and international audiences. The Director will stay apprised of developments in climate and clean energy to identify research gaps and opportunities, and the role All In and partners can play in filling them. The Director will also develop an information hub to centralize research and related information for use by All In and its partners. Through this work, the Director will help document the impact of subnational climate action and contribute to the knowledge base needed to advance it. This is an opportunity for a research leader to contribute new and timely insights that make sense of what’s happening and what’s possible across cities, states, businesses, and other institutions. The Director will report to the Deputy Executive Director.
