Barry’s is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

The General Manager serves as the leader of their single Barry’s studio, and is responsible for overall operation, client experience, people management, and performance. Minimum Requirements | |
o 3-5 years of fitness management or relevant related experience (hospitality, retail, food/beverage) o Minimally acceptable skills/proficiencies/certifications for this position are: o Knowledge of finance, including expense management and budgeting. o Understanding of the Fitness space and overall Health & Wellness industries o Ability to work independently and take initiative with a high level of energy and enthusiasm Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Working knowledge of Microsoft, G-Suite. o Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment o Ability to garner consensus from a large team and obtain stakeholder buy-in on new, complex or challenging ideas o Strong attention to detail o Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with different personality types as well as other departments, vendors and clients o Ability to lead, delegate to, and collaborate with a team of direct reports and peers o Possess strong communication, delegation and time management skills. o Possess strong negotiation, mediation and problem-solving skills o Ability to coach, train and motivate employees
