Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Role Overview 

Provides immediate supervision and technical guidance to a quality team supporting manufacturing operations. Oversees daily quality activities, inspection workflows, and quality documentation to ensure products meet established standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. Supports implementation of quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective resolution of production quality issues while developing team capabilities.

What You’ll Do...

• Supervise daily activities of quality technicians and support personnel 

• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure quality activities are completed to production schedules 

• Support implementation and maintenance of quality control processes and inspection standards 

• Review inspection plans, work instructions, and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance 

• Support APQP activities, including development and execution of control plans under guidance from quality leadership 

• Monitor quality performance metrics and escalate issues impacting production or customer requirements 

• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify and resolve quality concerns 

• Support investigations of product and process issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions 

• Assist with nonconformance management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities 

• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures 

• Support internal, customer, and third-party audit activities 

• Coach and mentor quality team members on inspection methods, quality standards, and problem-solving practices 

• Promote a culture of quality ownership and proactive issue prevention

You have...

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered

Experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities; or equivalent work experience

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes 

• Understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards 

• Experience with inspection processes, control plans, and quality documentation 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 

• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality requirements 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and production demands

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice to have...

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or regulated manufacturing environments 

• Experience supporting APQP processes 

• Familiarity with quality software systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) 

• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience 

• Experience working in a startup or rapidly growing manufacturing environment
