Our Department of Education Teaching Assistants (TAs) assist the professor with:

  • Assessment for the course
  • Grading
  • Student Support
  • Classroom Prep
  • Department Support


Qualifications

  • Must be a current Bethel student
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Reliable
  • Accountable for work, productivity, and responsibilities - complete work by assigned deadlines
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality (FERPA)

                                                                                                                             

Work Schedule

The work schedule is typically flexible, however, communication with the professor is key to ensure all deadlines are met.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a student employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to work on laptop/computer for extended periods of time (Screen time).
  • Ability to move class materials between buildings.
  • Ability to set up classroom.
