Build your practice with a steady flow of meaningful real estate litigation work.
Blue Peak acquires residential real estate across South Carolina, frequently involving inherited, multi-heir, and estate-owned properties that require title resolution before acquisition. We are seeking an experienced South Carolina attorney to serve as independent contractor counsel, handling litigation and title matters for a consistent volume of residential real estate transactions.
This is not an employee or in-house counsel position. You'll operate your own practice, maintain full professional independence, and serve as Blue Peak's primary legal partner for these matters.
About the Opportunity
Our acquisitions often involve complex ownership issues, missing heirs, estate interests, and title defects that require thoughtful legal strategy and efficient resolution. We are looking for an attorney who enjoys problem-solving, litigation, and helping transactions move to closing.
Each property represents a separate legal matter, providing a varied and engaging caseload that combines litigation, title work, and transactional support.
Responsibilities
Typical matters may include:
Counsel's client is Blue Peak exclusively. You will not represent heirs, beneficiaries, sellers, or other parties involved in these transactions.
Who We're Looking For
An Ideal Fit
This opportunity is especially well-suited for attorneys who have recently launched, or are planning to launch, their own practice and are looking for a reliable anchor client while continuing to build their broader book of business.
You'll gain a steady stream of work, direct access to decision-makers, and the flexibility to manage matters according to your own professional judgment and schedule.
Compensation & Structure
Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates and may be structured on per-matter or transactional basis. The fee arrangement can be refined over time as we establish a successful working relationship.
Why Blue Peak?
Interested candidates should submit a brief summary of their relevant experience, practice structure, and availability to handle South Carolina residential real estate litigation matters.
