The Role

Cardiff is looking for a Junior Salesforce Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of our Salesforce environment. You’ll work closely with our senior Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developers, and business stakeholders to keep the system secure, accurate, and easy to use.

This role suits someone with hands-on admin experience who wants to grow in a complex, established org. You’ll handle user support tickets, permissions, data quality, reporting, and simple automation. You’ll also learn how changes in one part of Salesforce affect processes elsewhere.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to and resolve Salesforce support tickets from Sales, Operations, Underwriting, Marketing, and other teams.
  • Manage users, including onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and license assignments.
  • Maintain permission sets, profiles, roles, and field-level security under the direction of the senior admin.
  • Support Salesforce security by running access reviews, monitoring user activity, and following security best practices.
  • Do data cleanup, including duplicate management, imports, exports, and mass updates with Data Loader or similar tools.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards for business teams.
  • Build and update simple Flows, such as basic record-triggered and screen Flows, with review from senior team members.
  • Configure fields, picklist values, page layouts, list views, and validation rules.
  • Test changes in sandbox and help with UAT and regression testing.
  • Document processes, configuration changes, and common fixes.
  • Help users with training, questions, and getting the most out of Salesforce.
  • Escalate complex issues, such as automation conflicts or integration errors, to the senior admin or development team with clear notes on what you found.

Required Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification
  • 1–3 years of hands-on Salesforce Administrator experience
  • Experience managing users, profiles, permission sets, and roles
  • Experience building reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Flow and basic automation concepts
  • Experience with Data Loader or similar data-management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to data and security
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical users
  • A willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools for research, troubleshooting, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or other Salesforce certifications
  • Basic knowledge of SOQL
  • Exposure to sandbox testing and change sets or other deployment tools
  • Familiarity with Lead and Opportunity processes
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or fintech
