The Opportunity

We are growing our independent retail business, and we're looking for someone ready to own it. This role hands you a portfolio spanning across independent natural health retailers, specialty chains, and emerging e-commerce accounts -- real relationships, real revenue, and real room to build a career in CPG sales.

About the Role

You'll own a defined portfolio of independent natural health retailers, specialty chains, and emerging e-commerce accounts, while supporting the broader channel and commercial initiatives led by our Key Account Manager. A year in, you'll have grown distribution across your book of business, built genuine relationships with your retail partners, and become the go-to person for how Organic Traditions shows up in independent natural retail.


You'll:

  • Drive growth through distribution gains, innovation listings, and promotion execution
  • Build and manage relationships with independent retailers -- leading business reviews, growth planning sessions, and product training
  • Present innovation opportunities, secure new listings, and identify distribution and assortment expansion across your accounts
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for distributor and. broker partners, coordinating promotions, forecasting, and issue resolution
  • Manage broker portals including listings, pricing, and promotional submissions
  • Maintain forecasts, pricing files, and customer reporting that keep the business running smoothly

Who you Are

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service within the CPG space
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a knack for turning data into a clear story
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work smarter day-to-day -- automating routine tasks, speeding up reporting, and freeing up more time for relationship building
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with occasional travel (~10% of the time)
  • Genuine interest in natural health, wellness, or organic foods preferred
  • Ambition to develop and grow into an Account Manager role over time

*This is the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a few factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
