Associate Producer

Our mission is to create trustworthy content stuff that inspires curiosity and lowers barriers to knowledge building. Associate Producers support the series vision and day-to-day production across assigned shows, working closely with producers, editors, and animators to move a project from pre-production to publish.


Associate Producers are responsible for regularly updating their producer on a project's progress, including any workflow issues that may delay an episode. They troubleshoot problems with their producer and implement any suggestions at the direction of their supervisor.

Job Title: Associate Producer

Status: Full time, Salaried, Exempt

Reports to: Producer

Location: Remote, US-based

Pay: $52,000 – $57,500

Candidates must reside in (or be willing to relocate to) one of the following states: (AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, MA, MI, MO, MT, NM, NY, NC, OK, OR, PA, TN, UT, VA, WA)



What you'll do: 


● Assist with shoots

● Order and review custom graphics and animations

● Direct hosts to deliver performances in line with the project’s brand

● Plan and coordinate staged videos under the direction of the Producer

● Provide feedback on projects to create the best possible product for accuracy and aesthetic

● Review and approve the editor’s suggested episode layout to determine necessary graphics

and visuals

● Script supervise for accuracy and style as well as any sponsored content as necessary

● Secure licensing and permissions for video assets (images, footage, special sounds, etc.)

● Uphold safety standards on set

● Other duties as assigned

We want to hear from you if you have:


  • 3 years previous production experience, including as an editor, animator, or director, required
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Previous experience with Air Table preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
