What will the Revenue Support Specialist do?
The Revenue Operations Specialist is a highly organized, detail-oriented utility player who supports the execution of Revenue Operations initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Distribution, and Operations. This role serves as a key connector across teams, helping ensure priorities move forward, processes are followed, communication stays aligned, and operational work is executed efficiently.
This individual will help manage the RevOps portfolio of work, support cross-functional initiatives, maintain documentation and operating procedures, coordinate projects and events, and serve as a trusted partner to RevOps leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can move seamlessly between process improvement, project coordination, operational execution, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Operations Execution
- Support the execution of strategic Revenue Operations initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Agency Operations
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure deliverables stay on track
- Assist with RevOps intake, prioritization, and work management processes
- Help identify operational inefficiencies and recommend and implement improvements
Process & Documentation Management
- Support RevOps leadership in managing the broader portfolio of initiatives and priorities
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and stakeholder communication
- Help ensure accountability and execution across teams
Project and Portfolio Coordination
- Deliver a high-quality service experience for internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate urgency, professionalism, accountability, and follow-through
- Support retention and revenue growth by ensuring a smooth operating experience
- Be the go-to operational partner for the Revenue team.
- Provide efficient operational support to improving Revenue team productivity
Go-to-Market Readiness & Cross Functional Partnership
- Coordinate Revenue go-to-market readiness activities for new products, technology enhancements, campaigns, and operational initiatives.
- Partner with Marketing, Distribution, Product, Technology, Customer Care, and other stakeholders to ensure launch readiness across the Revenue organization.
- Coordinate readiness plans, communications, documentation, training, and stakeholder alignment.
- Identify launch risks, dependencies, and readiness gaps and escalate as appropriate.
- Serve as the operational point of coordination between the Revenue organization and cross-functional teams, ensuring information flows effectively, dependencies are resolved, and work moves forward.
Event & Operational Support
- Assist with trade shows, conferences, leadership meetings, and team events
- Coordinate logistics, materials, communications, and follow-up activities
- Support agent communication initiatives and operational campaigns
Systems & Operational Support
- Support the administration and optimization of core business systems including CRM and marketing platforms
- Assist with testing, workflow validation, user adoption, and operational process improvements
- Partner with systems and operations team members to ensure technology supports business objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Business Operations, Project Coordination, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience documenting processes and creating SOPs
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance, MGA, distribution, agency, or financial services environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce and other revenue technology platforms
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, project management, or collaboration tools
- Exposure to both Sales and Marketing functions
- Understanding of lead management, onboarding, customer lifecycle, and revenue processes
Our interview process:
Our hiring process generally consists of 3 phases. The goal is to provide an opportunity for us to learn more about our candidates while allowing them to get to know us as well!
- Phase 1: Qualified candidates will first meet with a member of our People Operations team for a phone interview. This discussion is a high-level conversation to understand more about your background and interests and for us to share more about Coterie and the position.
- Phase 2: Selected candidates will be invited to meet with our Hiring Manager for a 2nd interview via Teams video. This interview is designed to be more detail oriented and allows you to learn more about the role
- Phase 3: Top candidates will receive an invite for our final interview series via Teams video. This series will include an experiential exercise project (provided in advance), 1:1 interviews with selected team members. The final series is roughly 1.5-3 hours in total but can be scheduled over a few days for flexibility.

- Annual salary estimated between $60,000-75,000 based on national data. Candidates who meet all the minimum requirements and possess additional relevant experience, as outlined in the job description, may be considered for a salary above the midpoint of the above range. Salary is based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; degrees or certifications, etc.
