We are currently partnering with a leading brand that is seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Merchandiser to support and optimize their online storefront. This is a contract role with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position.

Role Overview

As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the digital storefront experience. You will work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure products are effectively presented, campaigns are executed seamlessly, and the customer journey is continuously improved.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product merchandising within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including categorization, sorting, and search optimization
  • Execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal updates across the site
  • Optimize product listings, content, and on-site search to improve conversion rates and customer experience
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align merchandising strategies with campaigns and promotions
  • Analyze site performance metrics and user behavior to inform merchandising decisions
  • Maintain product data accuracy, ensuring pricing, inventory, and content are up-to-date
  • Partner with developers and QA teams to test and validate merchandising changes and site updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve navigation, product discovery, and overall site usability
  • Support A/B testing and personalization initiatives within SFCC

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience merchandising within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware)
  • Platform Knowledge: Strong familiarity with SFCC Business Manager, catalogs, promotions, and search merchandising tools
  • E-Commerce Expertise: Solid understanding of online merchandising principles, customer journeys, and conversion optimization
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and make informed merchandising decisions
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing product data and site content
  • Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with A/B testing tools and personalization platforms
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and on-site search optimization
  • Experience working with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager certification
