UGC Content Creator (Earthmade)

About our Brands

We are a fast-growing Australian healthcare group operating a portfolio of digital clinics and consumer health brands, focused on helping people feel better, live better, and take control of their wellbeing.

Our brands operate at the intersection of healthcare and consumer, combining clinical credibility with high-performance digital growth. We’re investing heavily in building a more sophisticated growth engine, with creative content as a key driver of performance.

This role will work specifically with Earthmade, our Australian telehealth service in the alternative healthcare space. Earthmade runs performance creative across Meta, with new concepts tested every month. We’re building a small roster of freelance creators we can work with on an ongoing, per-project basis to develop fresh, engaging and high-performing content.

About the Role

We brief you a concept. You shoot it, edit it and deliver finished ads ready to run. We handle strategy, scripting notes, messaging and media buying. Everything from filming through to the final export sits with you.

This is not a retainer and it is not a fixed number of hours. Briefs come to you as concepts get approved, typically two to three per month, and you take the ones that suit your schedule. Creators who deliver well get briefed more often and get first look at new concepts.

An important distinction

This is not an influencer or brand partnership role. We are not buying your audience, your reach or your follower count. You do not need to post anything to your own channels, and we will not ask you to.

We are buying paid-media-ready content: finished vertical video, shot on a phone, that looks and sounds like a real person rather than an ad. The best-performing creators for us are often not the ones with the biggest followings. They are the ones who can deliver a line naturally, cut it well and hit a brief exactly.

How a brief works

  1. Brief drops. You receive a written brief covering the concept, the audience it is aimed at, hook options, talking points, messaging direction, visual direction, CTA and format specs. It will tell you what the ad is trying to do, not just what to say.
  2. You confirm or flag. Within 24 hours, confirm you are taking it, or flag anything that does not work (a line that does not sound like you, a setting you cannot shoot, a timing clash). We would rather rewrite a line than have you deliver something stiff.
  3. You shoot. Usually 45 to 90 minutes of filming for a single concept, including all hook variations.
  4. You edit. You cut the footage into finished ads, including captions, pacing and any on-screen text the brief calls for. We are not editing on our end, so what you send is what runs.
  5. You deliver. Finished exports plus raw footage uploaded to a shared folder, named to the convention in the brief, within seven business days of accepting.
  6. We review. We check for compliance and usability. If something needs changing it is usually one line or one edit tweak, and we will ask within 48 hours.
  7. You get the read. Once the asset has run, we come back to you with how it performed and what we learned. That feeds into your next brief.

Formats we brief regularly

  • Piece to camera. You, talking directly to the viewer. Handheld, conversational, not scripted-sounding.
  • Comment reply. You respond to a question or comment shown on screen.
  • Skit. A short scenario with a setup and a turn. Sometimes needs a second person, which we will flag in the brief and pay for.
  • Demonstration. Showing a process or a comparison on camera.
  • Voiceover. You record audio to B-roll, sometimes yours and sometimes ours.
  • Q and A / response. You answer a question posed on screen, in series.

If you are strong in two or three of these rather than all six, that is fine. Tell us which in your application.

Compliance (please read before applying)

Earthmade operates under Australian advertising rules for therapeutic goods, including the TGA advertising code. This shapes what you can and cannot say on camera, and it is non-negotiable.

In practice:

  • No personal testimonials. You will never be asked to say a product worked for you. Content implying personal use cannot be approved or used.
  • No health or outcome claims, including implied ones, and including anything you add spontaneously.
  • No naming or depicting specific treatments or products.
  • Scripts are approved before you shoot. Ad-libbing outside the brief means the asset cannot run and will need re-shooting.
  • Occasionally a line gets changed after legal review and we will ask for a re-record. This is normal and paid.

You do not need prior knowledge of the rules. You do need to be someone who works inside a brief rather than around it.

What You’ll Need

  • Based in Australia
  • Comfortable and natural on camera, especially delivering a written line without sounding like you are reading it
  • Can self-shoot to a high standard: clean audio, good natural light, steady framing
  • Understands short-form paid social formats, especially Meta
  • Can edit your own footage to a finished, runnable standard, including captions
  • Reliable on deadlines and responsive on messages. Slow replies are the main reason we stop briefing someone.
  • Access to a few different shooting environments (home, kitchen, outdoors, car) is useful
  • Experience in regulated categories (healthcare, wellness, finance) is a bonus, not a requirement
  • Range across demographics is genuinely useful to us. We brief across several distinct audience types and we are not casting one look.

What We Offer

  • Work from anywhere. 🌍
  • Competitive pay. 💰
  • A supportive and positive work environment. 🌟
  • Opportunities to grow and develop your career. 📈
  • Opportunity to transform lives through alternative medicine. 💡
