About the Role

EnsembleIQ is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Associate to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health by managing collections across multiple brands within our portfolio.

We are looking for a professional who balances persistence with a commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring that our payment cycles remain efficient while our client relationships stay strong.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be reducing delinquency and streamlining the payment process through the following duties:

  • Proactive Collection Management: Manage automated email distributions for routine follow-ups and personally outreach to customers with past-due invoices to resolve payment barriers.
  • KPI Optimization: Work strategically to reduce average days-to-pay and minimize the volume of past-due accounts.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate non-paying accounts to the appropriate internal parties when necessary.
  • Billing Support: Utilize PDF editors to make formatting adjustments to invoices and upload documents to various customer portals.
  • Administrative Maintenance: Handle customer file maintenance, complete new vendor forms, and follow up on outstanding purchase orders.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Provide high-quality service to both external customers and internal EnsembleIQ team members to support the broader Accounts Receivable department.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of corporate collections experience with a solid understanding of standard collection procedures.
  • Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to maintain meticulous records and demonstrate high levels of accuracy.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues to various levels of management.
  • Efficiency: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize a diverse workload to drive measurable payment improvements.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A dedicated team player who enjoys working across different departments to reach common goals.
