Job Description

Title: IT & Business Systems Intern

Location: Fully Remote

Employment Type: Temporary Internship, Part Time

Reports To: Director of IT & Business Systems

Position Overview:

FEDlogic is seeking a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in information technology and business systems to join us as an IT & Business Systems Intern. You'll work directly with our Director of IT & Business Systems, with oversight from our Chief Operating Officer, supporting a fully remote organization that runs entirely on cloud platforms. This role offers hands on experience with the systems that power our daily operations, from employee support and account management to CRM data quality and security compliance. You'll contribute to real projects that make a visible difference across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support to a fully remote workforce, including troubleshooting, account access, and device questions, with escalation to the Director of IT & Business Systems as needed
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access changes, laptop preparation, and return tracking
• Support Salesforce and HubSpot data cleanup projects, such as identifying and merging duplicate contact records, correcting inaccurate data, and improving consistency across systems
• Help maintain user access and records for our client reporting portal, working alongside our operations and client success teams
• Assist with Google Workspace administration and user management
• Document processes, write how to guides, and help maintain IT standard operating procedures
• Support security and compliance efforts, including evidence collection for SOC 2 audit activities and periodic user access reviews
• Help track IT assets and maintain accurate device inventory

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree or certificate program in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Working knowledge of common business software and a strong interest in learning cloud platforms and CRM systems
• Excellent attention to detail, especially when working with data
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to nontechnical colleagues
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines in a remote environment
• Professional judgment and discretion handling confidential employee and client information
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets for data cleanup and analysis
• Relevant coursework or certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
• Interest in cybersecurity, systems administration, or business systems
• Comfort working in a fast moving environment where priorities shift
