Installation Coordinator

At Floor Nation, we know a successful flooring installation starts long before the installation crew arrives. It takes organization, communication, and coordination to ensure every project runs smoothly and every customer has a great experience.

We’re looking for an experienced Installation Coordinator who understands residential flooring operations and has hands-on experience scheduling flooring installations. 

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our production team, coordinating installation schedules, confirming customer contracts, ordering materials, and working closely with our Installation Managers and Sales Managers to keep projects moving from sold to scheduled to installed.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage installation schedules, matching projects with available installation crews and ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently

• Contact customers to confirm contracts, verify project details, communicate installation dates, and ensure they’re prepared for their upcoming installation

• Order materials based on project specifications, ensuring everything is available when needed

• Work directly with Sales Managers and Installation Managers to coordinate project handoffs, communicate updates, and resolve scheduling challenges

• Monitor upcoming installations, identify potential delays, and proactively address scheduling conflicts or material shortages

• Ensure contracts, measurements, material requirements, and other necessary job details are accurate before installations are scheduled

• Keep installation calendars, customer information, contracts, and material orders organized and up to date

• Help ensure customers receive clear communication and a smooth, well-coordinated installation process
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience scheduling residential flooring installations, required

• Working knowledge of residential flooring installation processes, timelines, and coordination requirements

• Experience coordinating installation crews

• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with homeowners

• Experience ordering flooring materials and coordinating product availability

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• The ability to manage multiple jobs, deadlines, and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving scheduling or production issues

• Comfort using computers, scheduling software, and other administrative systems

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with sales, installation, and finance teams

• Customers are contacted, contracts are confirmed, and expectations are clearly communicated

• Materials are ordered correctly and available when needed

• Installation Managers have the information they need to keep projects moving
