About Foxleigh Mine: 

Foxleigh Mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin coalfield, 12km south of Middlemount and 272km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine was established in 1999 as an open cut operation producing benchmark quality, LV PCI coal for the export market.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role is responsible for developing and managing long-term maintenance strategies that support equipment reliability, availability, and performance.

You’ll bridge the gap between short-term execution and long-term asset planning ensuring maintenance activities are proactive, well-coordinated, and aligned with operational and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 12-month and life-of-asset maintenance plans
• Lead lifecycle planning, major component forecasting, and shutdown planning
• Support the preparation and coordination of annual maintenance budgets
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of CMMS systems (Pulse or similar)
• Analyse fleet performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Technical teams
• Support reliability initiatives and continuous improvement programs
• Coordinate long-term planning requirements with suppliers and contractors

About you:

You are a detail-oriented and proactive planner who thrives in a fast-paced mining environment. You bring strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

To be successful, you will have:

• 3–5+ years experience in maintenance planning (mining or heavy industry)
• Experience using CMMS systems (Pulse, SAP, Pronto, AMT or similar)
• Strong understanding of maintenance strategies and asset management
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to engage with contractors and internal stakeholders to align schedules.
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
