About Foxleigh Mine: 

Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team and play a key role in leading safe, reliable and efficient maintenance operations across our mining fleet.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising maintenance activities across haulage fleet, ancillary equipment and workshop operations. Working closely with Operations, Planning and Reliability teams, you will provide leadership and direction to maintenance personnel while ensuring maintenance activities are executed safely, effectively and in alignment with operational priorities. You will be instrumental in maximising equipment availability, minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance function.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and promoting a strong safety culture across maintenance teams
• Supervising and coordinating day-to-day maintenance activities
• Planning and prioritising preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance work
• Driving equipment reliability and availability outcomes
• Providing leadership, coaching and development to Leading Hands, Tradespersons and Apprentices
• Monitoring maintenance performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring statutory compliance and maintenance documentation requirements are met
• Working collaboratively with operational and technical stakeholders to achieve business objectives

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Relevant trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams within mining or heavy industry environments
• Strong experience with heavy mobile equipment and maintenance execution
• Sound knowledge of maintenance planning, statutory compliance and safety management systems
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to developing people, driving accountability and leading by example
• Current Open Driver's Licence
• S1, S2, S3 and G2 Supervisor Competencies (or ability to obtain)
• Standard 11 and Health Assessment (or ability to obtain)
