Frontier Direct

General Application

At Frontier Direct, we're transforming healthcare. Our patients get access to the care they need quickly and efficiently while experiencing improved health outcomes for the first time in their life. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare!

TRANSFORM HEALTHCARE AND CREATE MASSIVE IMPACT
We build experiences people love by incorporating empathy, compassion, and trust. We challenge the status quo to restore the patient-provider relationship, starting with a team that is deeply passionate about healthcare and each other's success and wellbeing.

Frontier Direct delivers direct primary care (DPC) to employer-sponsored patient populations. Our providers manage a defined patient panel with an emphasis on continuity, preventive care, and chronic disease management — a model built around lower daily patient volume and longer visit times than traditional fee-for-service primary care. It's a different way to practice and deliver care, and it takes a different kind of team to build it.

Don't See the Right Role Today? Apply!

We're growing quickly across our Texas markets — Austin, Pflugerville, Dallas, San Marcos, and the Rio Grande Valley (Harlingen) — and new clinical and non-clinical openings come up regularly across our clinics and support teams. If you don't see a posting that matches your background right now, we still want to hear from you.

Submit your resume here to join our general talent pool. Our recruiting team reviews general applications on an ongoing basis and will reach out directly when a role opens that fits your experience and interests — whether that's on the clinical side (Medical Director, Primary Care APP, Registered Nurse, LVN, Medical Assistant), in member-facing roles (Member Care Navigator, Member Services Representative, Account Manager), or in corporate and operational support.

What We're Looking For

We hire across a wide range of roles, but the people who thrive at Frontier tend to share a few things in common:

  • A genuine passion for relationship-based, patient-first care
  • Optimistic, resilient, and mission-driven — energized by the entrepreneurial spirit of a growing organization
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and helping build a better model of primary care
  • Strong communication and customer-service instincts, whether working with patients, members, or teammates
  • Adaptable and solutions-focused, especially in a fast-growing, evolving environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus across many of our clinical and member-facing roles

Our Clinics

Frontier Direct clinics serve employer-sponsored patient populations across Texas, with locations in Austin, Pflugerville, Dallas, San Marcos, and Harlingen (Rio Grande Valley) — and we're continuing to expand into new markets. Each clinic is built around smaller patient panels, longer visits, and a care team (Medical Director, PCP/APP, nursing, and Medical Assistant staff) that works closely together, rather than the high-volume model of traditional fee-for-service practices.
