We are on the lookout for a Transportation Manager, Big and Bulky who shares our passion for Customer Obsession. In this hands-on, high-ownership role you will lead the final stage of delivery for oversized, heavy and large-format items such as furniture, appliances, mattresses and fitness equipment. You will manage fleet operators, team leads and sorters while driving results from both a P/L and merchant quality perspective.

Role Details:
Pay Rate/Salary: CAD$80k-$90k base
Location: Hybrid role based at our Downtown (John St) office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end performance of the Big and Bulky last mile delivery network, including P/L, service levels and merchant quality
• Manage and develop fleet operators, team leads and sorters to deliver a consistent, high-quality delivery experience
• Oversee white-glove delivery and installation services, including one-person and two-person delivery teams
• Drive damage prevention through strong handling processes, training and specialized equipment
• Plan and optimize routing, capacity and resource allocation using our TMS to balance cost, efficiency and delivery quality
• Monitor key metrics and financial performance, and act on insights to improve margins and reduce cost per delivery
• Partner with merchants, account management and warehouse teams to resolve escalations and maintain industry-leading client experience
• Establish and improve processes, documentation and standard operating procedures across the Big and Bulky transportation operation
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on performance, risks and progress against targets
• Act as an owner of the business, taking initiative to identify problems and drive outcomes independently

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in last mile delivery
• Experience managing fleet operators
• Proven experience managing team leads and sorters
• P/L experience, with the ability to drive outcomes from both a financial and merchant quality perspective
• Background in logistics or transportation
• Proficiency with TMS and routing tools, and strong working knowledge of Google Sheets
• Independent, results-oriented mindset with the ability to act like an owner
• Strong written & verbal communication skills, fluent in English
