Hammer Creative is looking for a talented Production Coordinator to join our growing team! We’re looking for ambitious, motivated, and organized multitaskers with a love for entertainment and video games. The ideal person for the role must have some prior relevant experience at a creative agency for advertising and/or entertainment content. Interest in working in the video games industry is a must. 


This is a hybrid work-from-home/onsite position, with the default being work-from-home, but with onsite work on an as-needed basis.


Qualifications: 

  • 1-2+ years of professional producing experience in marketing, trailers, short-form content, or closely related creative production environments.
  • Prior creative agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Prior game marketing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with clients.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively in fast-paced environments.


Responsibilities: 

  • The primary responsibility of the Production Coordinator will be to support the production team in managing creative projects for integrated campaigns from briefing to final delivery. Individual projects within a campaign can include video content production, campaign strategy, brand identity, pitches, script development, messaging, key art, visual identity and motion graphics.
  • While “support” on projects can include a wide variety of responsibilities, the most common will be: 
    • Assisting Producers/Project Managers in defining, monitoring and maintaining project scope, including timeline/production schedules, deliverables, resources and budgets.
    • Coordinating project resources, including continuously assessing and forecasting bandwidth to make recommendations for expansion and contraction as necessary.
    • Working with Supervisor and team members to continually evaluate and adjust departmental processes and workflows as needed to improve efficiency, quality, and work/life balance. Tailor production workflows to best support each project’s unique needs.
    • Organizing and distributing project information and assets, including creative or strategic briefs, status reports, deliverables lists, and files from clients 
    • Clearly communicating project plans, processes, objectives, timelines, and feedback to internal team members. 
    • Scheduling project meetings, preparing meeting agendas, & proofreading presentations. 
    • Taking detailed notes during internal and client meetings and communicating relevant action items to the team. 
    • Assisting in searches for VO and music. 
    • Facilitating communication between departments. 
    • Asset management across multiple servers and project management platforms, and ensuring workflow processes within these platforms are appropriately followed by all team members. 
    • Overseeing the A/V finishing process starting from picture lock through delivery, including creating finishing memos, coordinating audio mixes, picture onlines, versioning, final QC, and shipping final assets to clients 
    • Processing production-related invoices in a timely manner. 

The pay range for this role is:

$30.00 - $33.65 USD per hour (based on location and level of experience)
