Harbor Compliance's Arizona office handles UCC filings and lien searches for law firms and referral partners nationwide. The UCC & Lien Search Specialist owns these filings end to end — with a strong focus on accuracy, managing multiple requests a week across multiple jurisdictions. This hybrid, Arizona-based role is expanding beyond state-specific work, with room to grow into a lead position or broader compliance analyst work over time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, File and Process UCC -1 requests, UCC-3 amendment filings, UCC-11 lien search reports, and due diligence searches for law firm and referral partner clients.
• Determine what creates or changes a lien, then search records to confirm accurate, complete results.
• Verify jurisdiction and entity name accuracy on every filing and search as part of a rigorous quality-check process.
• Manage a high-volume caseload, prioritizing across multiple deadlines and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with outside vendors when needed to complete filings.
• Partner with a teammate on larger, more complex requests that require two people.
• Keep filings and case status organized and current for tracking and handoff.
• Work with the on-site training lead to build filing knowledge and stay current on process changes.

Requirements

• Prior experience with UCC filings or lien searches strongly preferred; absent that, experience in a comparably detail-heavy, high-volume, deadline-driven filing or records role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with repetitive quality-check work — verifying names, jurisdictions, and filing details with zero tolerance for error.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize a high-volume workload independently.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a two-person team on larger requests.
• Able to work hybrid from our Arizona office, with flexibility to take on multi-state work as the role expands.
• Strong written and organizational skills to keep case files clear and audit-ready.

Nice to have

• Paralegal or Legal Document Preparer (LDP) background, particularly with real estate or title-related work.
• Arizona LDP certification.
• Prior experience in a compliance, legal services, or filings-heavy environment.

Compensation: 

Harbor Compliance’s base salary range for this role is listed below. Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.
