About The UPS Store

We operate two locally owned and operated The UPS Store locations: one in West Monroe and one in Ruston, Louisiana. Our stores provide shipping, printing, mailbox, and business services to individuals and small businesses in our communities.

Team members work directly with customers in a fast-paced retail environment, helping them ship packages, produce print materials, and solve everyday business needs. Roles may include customer service, print production, sales support, and operations, depending on the position and location.

Full-Time / Part-Time

Compensation: $12.00–$15.00/hr + commission on notary services

About the Role

The UPS Store in Ruston is hiring a Center Associate who also performs notary services. You'll help customers with shipping, printing, mailbox services, and notarizations in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You'll Do

• Deliver excellent customer service across all store operations
• Process shipping, packaging, and receiving
• Operate printing/copying equipment and fulfill print orders
• Perform notarial acts in accordance with Louisiana law
• Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
• Maintain store appearance, organization, and supply levels
• Open and/or close the store as scheduled

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Louisiana Notary Public commission
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays
• Prior retail or customer-facing experience preferred
