Credit Card Sales Representative

Guaranteed Hourly Pay + Uncapped Commissions

Pay: Guaranteed hourly pay starting from $19.00/hour, plus uncapped commissions

Position Summary

LINQ is seeking motivated, confident, and customer focused Credit Card Sales Representative to join our growing field sales team. The Credit Card Sales Representative promotes and manages a national leading co-brand credit card program in store, delivering an outstanding customer experience while driving card applications and sign-ups. This role calls for excellent communication and customer service skills, sales experience, and the ability to quickly learn.  The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, able to manage multiple tasks at once, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage shoppers in a friendly and professional manner to build rapport and introduce the credit card program.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the credit card offer that best fits their shopping habits.
  • Educate customers on card features, benefits, rewards, and current promotional offers.
  • Guide customers through the credit card application process accurately and efficiently.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve concerns about the credit card program with clarity and care.
  • Achieve individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for card applications and approvals.
  • Track and analyze personal sales results to identify opportunities and improve performance.
  • Manage multiple tasks at once, including customer engagement, applications, and display upkeep, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Set up, maintain, and organize the sales booth, signage, and promotional materials to program standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and daily reports.
  • Protect customer personal and financial information and follow all privacy, data security, and compliance requirements.
  • Represent the company and the brand professionally at all times.
  • Build positive working relationships with store management and associates.
  • Attend training sessions and stay informed on credit card program updates, offers, and company initiatives.
  • Escalate customer concerns or operational issues to the Field Supervisor or Field Manager as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • 1+ year of experience in credit card sales, financial product sales, or retail sales.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident approaching and engaging customers in a high-traffic retail setting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and clearly explain credit card terms, benefits, and offers.
  • Organized and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to handling customer information with discretion.
  • Basic computer and tablet skills for submitting applications and reporting.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
