Robotic Welder Operator Career Opportunity

About the Role

Welders supports manufacturing operations by producing quality welded assemblies using MIG welding and fabrication equipment. This role works from blueprints and work instructions to fixture, tack, and weld steel assemblies while ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production. As employees develop their welding skills and production knowledge, there is an opportunity to grow into a Robotic Welder Operator role, supporting automated welding systems and robotic welding cells.

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, routers, and work instructions to produce quality welded assemblies.
  • Perform MIG welding, fixturing, tack welding, finishing, and basic quality inspections.
  • Operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment while maintaining required production and quality standards.
  • Cross-train and operate additional manufacturing equipment as assigned.
  • Follow established quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Utilize ERP systems to access production information and record required data.
  • Maintain a safe work environment through proper housekeeping, PPE usage, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years welding experience OR welding technical school training
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
  • Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using computers and production software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to learn robotic welding systems

Schedule

Monday - Thursday (4 pm - 2:30 am)


Compensation: $26 – $30 per hour based on experience
*Range includes $2.00 per hour 2nd shift differential.
