Telehealth Dermatologist - PRN

MindCare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Telehealth Dermatologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality virtual dermatologic care to patients across various settings, including individuals undergoing cancer treatment who may require specialized dermatologic support related to oncology care.

This role involves conducting telehealth dermatology consultations, evaluating and treating a wide range of acute and chronic skin conditions, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications when appropriate, and collaborating with members of the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care. The provider will maintain accurate documentation and deliver patient-centered care while adhering to telehealth and clinical best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage a variety of dermatologic conditions primarily for cancer patients. Patient volume is anticipated to average approximately 2–4 patients per month, with the most common diagnosis within this population being Graft-versus-Host Disease (GVHD).
• Provide comprehensive dermatology evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans through telehealth platforms
• Prescribe medications and recommend treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based practice and state regulations
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, medication usage, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, telehealth regulations, and company policies
• Participate in PRN scheduling as needed, with availability determined based on patient demand and operational needs
• Provide timely follow-up and respond to patient care concerns appropriately
• Maintain active licensure and credentialing requirements for telehealth practice

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology preferred
• Active and unrestricted Colorado medical license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
• DEA registration and controlled substance certification, if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of dermatology experience preferred
• Experience providing telehealth services preferred
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
• Must maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations
