This is more than an administrative position — it’s a launchpad into hospitality sales, event planning, and hotel management. You’ll work directly with our Catering and Sales teams, gaining hands-on experience coordinating weddings, corporate meetings, banquets, and special events at one of downtown Nashville’s premier hotels.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assists with coordinating all aspects of catering events, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences
  • Communicate with clients to confirm event details (menus, timelines, room setup, guest count)
  • Assist in preparing banquet event orders (BEOs) and distribute them to relevant departments
  • Liaise with kitchen, banquet staff, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Assist in menu planning and accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests
  • Maintain detailed records of events, contracts, and client communications
  • Handle last-minute changes or issues professionally and efficiently
  • Support post-event follow-up, including posting banquet charges and collecting deposits

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A highly organized and detail-oriented team player with strong computer skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Someone eager to learn and grow in hospitality sales and events
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Hospitality, catering, or event experience is a plus — but not required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; Delphi FDC experience is a bonus

Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.


The pay range for this role is: $20 – $23 USD dependent upon experience and education
