The not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital features a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services. Our large, quiet labor/birthing rooms are private and located away from other patient care areas. The private patient rooms on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical Department boast views from every window.

About the role

The Administrative Support position performs secretarial support services for a variety of departments under the supervision of the Administrator of NMCC. They will assist visitors, schedule meetings, maintain files, complete typing assignments and other projects as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to type 55-60 wpm with minimal mistakes.
  • Ability to operate office equipment.
  • Advanced verbal skills including sentence structure, grammar, and spelling.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and Word) and desk top publishing program (i.e. Print Shop).
  • Desire to work with people and be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 10 years.
